Brett Northart, CEO

Brett Northart is the CEO of Lindsay Gerber Interiors and a seasoned entrepreneur with a 15-year career as a founder and investor in the tech space. He brings a strategic balance to the firm’s creative pursuits by focusing on business operations and delivering a top-notch experience to clients with a clear, transparent approach.

Prior to joining LGI, Brett founded Le Tote and scaled the company into one of the largest subscription ecommerce companies in the world. During his 8-year tenure as founder & President, Brett built a team of over 500 employees, grew the business from initial concept to hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue, and raised over $350mm from top-tier VC and PE firms. While at Le Tote, Brett also initiated, structured, and led the acquisition of Lord & Taylor - a company with >$1BN in revenue and 5,000+ employees. After completing the transaction, he served as President and Chief Digital Officer, running the ecommerce P&L ($400mm+ business) and overseeing a large-scale digital transformation of the brand. Le Tote was also backed by Y Combinator and was named to the YC Top 100 Companies list in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020.

As his wife’s interior design firm experienced exponential growth, Brett’s entrepreneurial eye saw an opportunity to apply a modern, tech-enabled business approach to a largely qualitative, traditional industry. Brett brings his unique relationships and a deep understanding of working with business leaders and fellow entrepreneurs.

Outside of work, Brett is an active member of YPO (SF Bay Chapter) and has served on the chapter board for the last 2 years.
